Fleet Staff Openings
Fleet Staff Openings
I have authorized the creation of the following Fleet Staff positions. Explanations of each are under the title.
All of the positions share the following same requirements:
- Be a member in good standing in TRMN, attached to Second Fleet.
- Be compliant with the “two-hat” rule upon taking this position.
- Commit to hold this position for a set period of time (6 months to a year).
And all share the same general duty:
- Participate in Fleet Staff meetings as requested by the Chief of Staff.
Beyond that, each position will specify their requirements and commitment levels. For each position, there is also a rank requirement, which you must be tested to in order to fill the position. In the case of positions that mimic ship billets, I would appreciate you meeting the billet requirement as well. This is done to indicate interest in the aspects of the role, above and beyond filling the position.
Applications for the initial period close June 30, with interviews and appointments to be completed by the end of July. Unfilled positions will remain open.
One additional requirement is an ability to meet periodically over Discord, Zoom, or a similar technology.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to our first staff meeting!
