GRYPHON FLEET ORDER 1710-B, 25OCT2017

My thanks to the personnel who conducted Royal Manticoran Navy operations at LionCon, held in Saint Cloud, MN, 2-3 September 2017. LionCon was declared by the Seventh Space Lord to be an Admiralty-level event, with a recruiting table and BuSup sales booth. TRM personnel held a commissioning ceremony on the main stage. Additionally, TRMN personnel operated HMS Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator and hosted panels and a party in a convention center meeting room dedicated to TRMN operarions for the entire weekend. Well done!

Private First Class Paladin MEYER, HMS Javelin, is awarded the NAVY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL for his consistent hard work and assistance with monthly chapter activities and during the gaming convention event of LionCon held September 2nd & 3rd. His diligence, drive, and dedication have been a leading example for other crew members to follow after.

Private First Class Alyssa STANG, HMS Javelin, is awarded the NAVY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL for her excellent work in organizing, planning, and coordinating room set up as well as schedule coordination of all of the TRMN panels, X-wing game tournament, and party room activities at the event of LionCon held September 2nd & 3rd. Her attention to detail and her positive attitude, making sure that all TRMN programming and activities ran smoothly was greatly appreciated.

Private First Class Justin WILLARD, HMS Javelin, is awarded the NAVY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL for his initiative in recruitment efforts and building up the new RMMC members of the chapter. He has consistently helped in guiding new members through their first steps with the TRMN as well as encouraging them to participate in chapter activities.

Spacer First Class Thomas ERIKSON, HMS Javelin, is awarded the NAVY COMMENDATION DECORATION for taking responsibility to plan, prepare, and host HMS Javelin’s monthly game day, where he teaches his shipmates how to play marksman qualifying games so that they can earn their marksmanship awards. Due to his efforts, the chapter’s game days, which are held at a local game shop, have played a major role in the recruitment of new members to the chapter. He further demonstrated his abilities and willingness to support the chapter by organizing and hosting the X-wing Miniatures tournament at LionCon.

Lieutenant Erikson established and developed an alliance with Lionheart Games and acquired a LionCon sponsorship. Lieutenant Erikson’s vision and planning, long term preparation work and above-and-beyond work during the event were vital to the success of Royal Manticoran Navy operations at LionCon.

Lieutenant Commander Danielle ERIKSON, commanding HMS Javelin, is hereby MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES for her leadership and outstanding contribution to LionCon operations. Lieutenant Commander Erickson recruited for and developed Javelin to the point where it could take the lead in a complex TRMN convention operation, and impressive achievement for a chapter formed only months previous. Lieutenant Commander Erickson’s leadership has made possible the expansion of The Royal Manticoran Navy into a new area, and its prominent profile in the fan community there.

Well done all!
