Re: Mention in Dispatch
FLEET ORDER 1701-B, 15 January 2017

For performance of tasks to a high standard of excellence, CAPTJG Jackie SNEDDEN, Fleet Intel Officer, is MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES.

I gave Captain Snedden the responsibility to plan and execute the administration of the fleet’s challenge program, requiring considerable time and effort throughout 2016. She took on every task cheerfully, unhesitatingly, and efficiently. We would not have been able to do it without her, and she has my gratitude for her work on the fleet’s behalf.

Re: OPERATIONAL AWARDS, WINDYCON 2016
FLEET ORDER 1611-B, 15 November 2016

Congratulations to TRMN personnel for conducting successful operations at Windycon in Lombard, IL, 11-13 November 2016, including a recruiting table and hosting a hospitality party suite on Friday and Saturday night. At least two dozen new members registered for TRMN, including some for ships in other fleets. Notably, two of these newly registered recruits jumped right in and volunteered for party volunteer shifts the same day they enlisted, and are included in these operational awards. Additionally, TRMN made contacts and formed alliances with other fan organizations in the region.

At Windycon Closing Ceremonies, The Royal Manticoran Navy was awarded BEST PARTY as well as BEST NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINK (for the ECM) based on a popular vote of con attendees. This is a good indication of the impact of TRMN’s presence at this convention.

The following Second Fleet personnel participated in TRMN operations at Windycon in Lombard, IL, 11-13 November 2016:

Awarded the NAVY COMMENDATION DECORATION:

Commander Teresa Remaly, commanding HMS Apollo, for her outstanding contribution in providing and operating the chocolate fountain, which was a popular feature with party attendees.
Captain Junior Grade Justin Dupras, for his outstanding contribution in sourcing and providing a popcorn machine, appreciated by the party attendees.
PARTICULAR MENTION IS GIVEN to Captain (Senior Grade) Sir Sherman Day, commanding HMS Demon, for his leadership in planning and executing TRMN’s Windycon operations.

PARTICULAR MENTION has been already given in Captain Day’s AAR to Captain (Senior Grade) Garret Bitker for “taking one for the team” to open the party room while everyone else dined out. I will add that Captain Bitker’s consistently outstanding level of service is inspirational to me personally and to all of our fleet personnel. His performance all weekend at Windycon was no exception.

PARTICULAR MENTION IS GIVEN to Warrant Officer Ursula Day, HMS Demon, for her cheerful steward service throughout the weekend, putting in a huge number of volunteer hours.

PARTICULAR MENTION IS GIVEN to Command Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Bill Lochen, whose entertaining Missile Pod presentations make such a memorable experience for attendees. His outstanding performance was undoubtedly a major factor in TRMN’s “Best Party” award.

My thanks to all for their service!
