Re: Award of Naval Commendation Decoration
GRYPHON FLEET ORDER 1604-B 10APR2016

CAPTAIN JUNIOR GRADE GEOFFREY STRAYER conceived the plan to maximize The Royal Manticoran Navy’s unified presence in the Northern Illinois and Indiana areas surrounding the Chicago area, proposing the merger of the ships in the area to form Gryphon Fleet’s first Carrier, Light Attack Craft, allowing for the formation of Light Attack Craft throughout Second Fleet. Captain Strayer sacrificed his own independent command in order to see this vision fulfilled.

This unified presence will allow for one ship’s patch, and multiple active crew to be present, at events throughout the HMS Demon’s Operational Area, with a deep bench of active crew.

Furthermore, Captain Strayer has been integral in all aspects of the commissioning of this new vessel, including his skilled design and execution of the ship’s crest artwork and suggestion of the ship’s motto, “From Hell’s Heart,” which was widely accepted by the crew.

For his contribution to the success of Royal Manticoran Navy operations, effective 10 April, 2016 Captain Strayer is hereby awarded the NAVAL COMMENDATION DECORATION, and is authorized to wear the NCD ribbon with cluster, this being his second award of the medal.

Re: Operational Awards, Marscon 2016
GRYPHON FLEET ORDER 1603-D, 14 MARCH, 2016

All involved spacers and marines have my gratitude and congratulations for successful operations at Marscon in Bloomington, MN, 4-6 March 2016. TRMN personnel planned and hosted not one, but two simultaneous and distinct party rooms, with our RMMC personnel debuting the “Marine Country” party. Additionally, TRMN personnel operated the Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator for the enjoyment of convention attendees. All of these operations require intensive setup and tear down and therefore required extensive team coordination and effort. TRMN personnel logged more than 280 volunteer hours during the event, and this does not even count hours of construction and pre-event preparation prior to Thursday night set-up. The result: further good reputation for TRMN in our local and regional fan community.
