Re: Appointment of Acting Commanding Officer Gryphon Fleet/Second Naval District (Naval Directive 14OC-01)
I hereby appoint Commodore Lord Sir John Neitz, Baron Westmarch to the position of Acting Commanding Officer of the Gryphon Fleet and the Second Naval District with all of the authority and responsibility requisite thereof, effective 01-AUG-14.
As a Numbered Fleet Commander the duties are primarily focused on recruiting in this naval District. Addition duties are as highlighted in Naval Directive 01JL-01. He will continue cooperation with the Space Lords as expected and will continue mentorship of future appointees to subordinate echelons as well.

As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby grant Rear Admiral of the Green Antonio Lopes an immediate and indefinite Leave of Absence to return at his discretion. Your personal Flag Lieutenant and Steward(s) will remain assigned to Admiral Lopes for the duration of his leave.
Therefore as First Space Lord, I will be assuming the duties as Acting Commanding Officer of the Gryphon Fleet and the Second Naval District with all of the authority and responsibility requisite thereof, effective 01-AUG-14.

As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby establish the FIRST Battle Cruiser Squadron – BatCruRon 21 (Second Fleet, First Squadron) comprising BatCruDiv 211 (replacing CruDiv211) comprising:
HMS Leonidas, CAPT Michael Larsen commanding (Division CO)
HMS Invincible, CAPT Laura Lochen commanding (Squadron Flagship)
HMLAC Superior, LTSG Colin Engstrom commanding
and BatCruDiv 212 comprising:
HMS Athena, CAPT Justin Grays commanding (Division CO)
HMS Victorious, CAPT Jill MacTavish commanding
HMS Lodestone, LTCDR Julie Chase commanding
Additionally, Captains Larsen and Grays are breveted to the rank of Captain Senior Grade, befitting their positions as Division CO’s.
In addition I do hereby direct all officer herein named to take command of their commands and proceed to their assigned patrol area and protect the lives and property of Manticoran citizens therein, In addition you will fulfill any other duties as may be assigned by the Second Fleet Commander and the First Space Lord, this order made under my hand will be effective 0001 hours 21-OCT-2012.

In addition I do hereby direct Captain Junior Grade John Neitz to take command of this unit and proceed to his assigned patrol area and protect the lives and property of Manticoran citizens therein, In addition you will fulfill any other duties as may be assigned by the Second Fleet Commander and the First Space Lord, this order made under my hand will be effective 0001 hours 15-APR-2012.
