AWARD CITATION: Upon being made aware of a breakdown in communication that lead to a lack of complete security coverage during the Art Show at LibertyCon 30, in Chatanooga, Tennessee, 30 June through 2 July 2017, 1SGT Brad HANDLEY went above and beyond his duty in helping to coordinate and cover down security shifts for the Art Show allowing for complete security coverage. This allowed an uninterrupted coverage of Art Show security and saved face for the TRMN as a whole. He was also instrumental in straightening out a problem with the TRMN fan table with Con Staff. His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the Service, and the TRMN.
Now, therefore, by my authority as Commanding Officer, Second Fleet, First Sergeant Brad Handley, HMS Ajax, is hereby awarded the QUEEN’S BRAVERY MEDAL, effective 10 August, 2017
My congratulations and thanks to 1SGT Handley for his representation of Gryphon Fleet at this event outside the fleet area, in the proud tradition of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps.
