GRYPHON FLEET ORDER 1912-B, 05DEC2019
Held between November 15 & 17, 2019, WindyCon in Lombard, IL is the primary event in the Chicago area’s calendar of events. It was where our Chicago chapter first entered the Chicago convention scene, and as such, is an important event for the members of HMS Demon, and ships in that area.
For their participation in Royal Manticoran Navy operations, the following members are awarded the Havenite Operational Service Medal:

For his actions in protecting a member of TRMN from personal, targeted, harassment during the convention, the following member is hereby awarded the Gryphon Star, and is entitled to the post nominal letters of ‘GS’. Awarded in First Space Lord’s Monthly Honors, December 2019.

For enhancing the party room experience through the use of personal stocks of bitters and garnishes, resulting in a heightened party experience for all, the following member is hereby awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
S1C Samuel Walter DIETZMANN, RMN HMS Demon
For organizing and spearheading the execution the party room to a high level of excellence, and to for serving as Steward both nights. Without these efforts, the Demon’s Rest room party would not have succeeded. The following members are hereby awarded the Naval Commendation Decoration.

For his performance at the Saturday Demon’s Rest party in his capacity as half of ‘The Courtesan and the Cabin Boy’, which enhanced the party, leading to several occasions where large parts of the attendees and TRMN staff were engaged in sing-alongs, the following member is hereby awarded the Navy Achievement Medal.

In his persona as Commodore Marok zantai-toQqul, CO Cold Terror Fleet, Klingon Assault Group, S2/c Malenkoff was dressed in Klingon garb, with the RMN shoulder patch on his sash/baldric. For this, the following member is awarded the Prisoner of War Medal.

While in full RMN working uniform, CPO Kampersal was a frequent ‘visitor’ to the Klingon Jail & Bail, serving to draw awareness to their activity, and help raise funds for the convention charity. This assistance amounted to no less than two ‘shifts’ working with the KAG fan table. For this, the following member is hereby awarded the Masadan Occupation Medal.
